Highland Adventure Holidays - Highlands of Scotland
Highland Adventures

The Highlands of Scotland are a vast and spectacular wilderness, a haven for rare native wildlife, and a playground for those that love the great outdoors. Our Highland Adventure holidays are designed to take advantage of all of these resources, in order to make your visit a truly unforgettable one.

As both of these holidays take place in a region famed as Scotland's adventure sports capital, we have arranged agreements with local providers which enable us to book exciting additional activities such as white water rafting, sphereing and canyoning. Full details can be found here.
Lochs and Mountains – 4 nights

The lochs and mountains of Scotland are world-renowned for their tranquillity and beauty. On this tour we visit an area which excels in both of these categories and is eminently tour-able by bike. Passing through the majestic Glen Tummel, we round peaceful Loch Rannoch before skirting the base of Schiehallion – one of the tallest and most famous Scottish mountains – on our way back to the highland town of Pitlochry.

Highland Discovery – 5 nights

Also starting at Pitlochry, this tour follows the course of the River Tay, towards it's source. As well as the fantastic scenery we travel through, this is also an incredibly historic area and was formerly home to the famous Scottish rebel Rob Roy MacGregor. There are many places we pass which bare witness to his adventures, including the isolated Glen Lyon and the stunning Falls of Dochart in the highland village of Killin. We also pay a visit to the oldest tree in Europe – the Fortingall Yew – which is estimated to be between 3000 – 5000 years old!
