Epic Journeys
We at 2 Wheel Tours love a challenge and are sure that a lot of our customers do too. As such, we have started mapping out some cracking long distance routes across our magnificent wee country which we are sure you will enjoy. In our opinion, a tour qualifies as epic if it covers at least 200 miles, doesn't shy away from the odd hill, and travels through particularly stunning countryside. Most of these routes are able to be adapted to cater for a range of fitness levels.

Southern Upland Coast 2 Coast – 9 nights (Challenging) or
13 Nights (Moderate to Comfortable)
This route is one of our favourites due to the particularly beautiful scenery and the feeling that you are discovering something new, as the areas which we travel through are mostly untouched by tourism. We start in the pretty fishing village of Portpatrick, on the west coast and traverse the breadth of southern Scotland, more or less following the route of the Southern Upland Way (a famous walking route). This spine of hills serves as our guide as we travel through Dumfries and Galloway, home of Robert Burns (our national poet), the Borders and eventually East Lothian, finishing up in another pretty seaside town (this time on the east coast), North Berwick. This is a relatively hilly route, but one which you won't forget.
